Axis Bank signs MoU with Indian Navy for salary accounts

Axis Bank has signed an MoU with the Indian Navy, offering a defence service salary package, 'Power Salute' through which the bank will offer numerous benefits Indian Navy personnel.

The benefits include a personal accidental cover of up to ₹56 lakh to all navy personnel, veterans and cadets. 

Also, additional up to ₹8 lakh children education grant; total permanent disability cover benefit up to ₹46 lakh; air accident cover of ₹1 crore.

एक्सिस बैंक ने वेतन खातों के लिए भारतीय नौसेना के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए

Telangana invited to participate in International Seed Conference

Telangana got a rare recognition as it was invited to participate in International Seed Conference that would be held virtually by FAO of the UN.

International Seed Conference, is being organised to discuss development of seed industry.

Representatives, Ministers, scientists and seed experts from 195 countries would participate in the conference.

The initiatives taken up for transforming Telangana as seed hub will be telecast in English, Spanish and French languages.

Power Minister inaugurates Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project in J&K

Union Power Minister R K Singh virtually inaugurated the diversion of Marusudar River of Pakal Dul Hydro Electric Project in Kishtwar, J&K. 

Pakal Dul HE Project (1,000 MW) is being constructed by Chenab Valley Power Projects Pvt Limited (CVPPPL) and Jammu and Kashmir State Power Development Corporation. 

Marusudar River is a major tributary of the Chenab River.

Diversion of the River will pave the way for acceleration in construction activities of the Project.

Elon Musk's Starlink registers India unit, plans to focus on rural areas

Elon Musk backed Starlink has registered its business in India.

It is planning to launch internet services in the country, as per the company documents filed with the government.

Starlink is the satellite internet division of billionaire Elon Musk's rocket company SpaceX.

In India, Starlink plans to "carry on the business of telecommunication services" including satellite broadband internet services, content storage and streaming, multi-media communication.

Bank of Baroda signs MoU with NCDEX e-Markets

Bank of Baroda has signed an MoU with NCDEX e Markets Ltd to become a “clearing bank” for handling financial transactions in the NeML market place and procurement/auction platform.

NEML, a wholly-owned subsidiary of agricultural commodity exchange, NCDEX, is an online commodities spot market and services company.

The bank will partner with agriculture marketing federations and other procurement agencies across the country.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance has partnered with Vega to offer personal accident insurance cover on every online purchase of Vega helmet.

The personal accident insurance policy will provide individuals with the benefit of accidental death with sum insured of ₹1 lakh.

The cover is applicable on a worldwide basis.

The tie-up aims to give the customer dual safety and protection, through the helmet and the personal accident insurance cover.

SBI launches pre-approved 2-wheeler loan ‘SBI Easy Ride’ on YONO

The SBI has launched a pre-approved 2-wheeler loan scheme ‘SBI Easy Ride’ through its YONO platform.

Eligible SBI customers can avail of end-to-end digital loans without visiting the bank branch.

Customers can apply for the Easy Ride loan for an amount up to Rs 3 lakh at a competitive interest rate of 10.5% per annum onwards for a maximum tenure of 4 years. 

The minimum loan amount has been fixed at Rs 20,000.

The loan will be disbursed directly into the dealer's account.

एसबीआई ने योनो पर प्री-अप्रूव्ड टू-व्हीलर लोन 'एसबीआई ईजी राइड' लॉन्च किया

एसबीआई ने अपने योनो प्लेटफॉर्म के माध्यम से प्री-अप्रूव्ड टू-व्हीलर लोन योजना 'एसबीआई ईजी राइड' शुरू की है।

योग्य एसबीआई ग्राहक बैंक शाखा में आए बिना एंड-टू-एंड डिजिटल ऋण का लाभ उठा सकते हैं।

ग्राहक 4 साल की अधिकतम अवधि के लिए 10.5% प्रति वर्ष की प्रतिस्पर्धी ब्याज दर पर 3 लाख रुपये तक की राशि के लिए आसान सवारी ऋण के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

न्यूनतम ऋण राशि 20,000 रुपये तय की गई है।

ऋण सीधे डीलर के खाते में वितरित किया जाएगा।

IOC to set up India’s first mega-scale Maleic Anhydride Plant at Panipat

IOC will set up India’s 1st mega-scale Maleic Anhydride Plant to manufacture value-added chemical products at its Panipat Refinery and Petroleum Complex. 

The project — with a capex of ₹3,681 crore will be commissioned in 54 months from stage 1 investment approval.

The project is proposed to have a capacity of 120 KTA of Maleic Anhydride. 

MAH is used to make products like polyester resins and surface coatings plasticisers, agrochemicals and lubricant additives.

आईओसी पानीपत में भारत का पहला मेगा-स्केल मालेइक एनहाइड्राइड प्लांट स्थापित करेगा

आईओसी अपनी पानीपत रिफाइनरी और पेट्रोलियम कॉम्प्लेक्स में मूल्य वर्धित रासायनिक उत्पादों के निर्माण के लिए भारत का पहला मेगा-स्केल मालेक एनहाइड्राइड प्लांट स्थापित करेगा।

परियोजना - ₹3,681 करोड़ के पूंजीगत व्यय के साथ चरण 1 निवेश अनुमोदन से 54 महीनों में चालू किया जाएगा।

इस परियोजना में मालेइक एनहाइड्राइड की 120 केटीए क्षमता का प्रस्ताव है।

एमएएच का उपयोग पॉलिएस्टर रेजिन और सतह कोटिंग्स प्लास्टिसाइज़र, एग्रोकेमिकल्स और स्नेहक योजक जैसे उत्पाद बनाने के लिए किया जाता है।

Union Home Minister, Amit Shah launches ‘Ayushmaan CAPF’ health card

Home Minister Amit Shah launched the ‘Ayushmaan CAPF’ Scheme health cards at the national level in New Delhi.

The scheme has been designed to cover all serving personnel and their dependents of the seven Central Armed Police Forces.

He handed over ‘Ayushmaan CAPF’ Scheme health cards to the Director General, National Security Guard for distribution to NSG personnel. 

The scheme is a joint initiative of the Home Ministry, Health Ministry and National Health Authority (NHA).

गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने नई दिल्ली में राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर 'आयुष्मान सीएपीएफ' योजना स्वास्थ्य कार्ड लॉन्च किया।

इस योजना को सात केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों के सभी सेवारत कर्मियों और उनके आश्रितों को कवर करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।

उन्होंने एनएसजी कर्मियों को वितरण के लिए 'आयुष्मान सीएपीएफ' योजना के स्वास्थ्य कार्ड महानिदेशक, राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा गार्ड को सौंपे।

यह योजना गृह मंत्रालय, स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय और राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य प्राधिकरण (एनएचए) की एक संयुक्त पहल है।

RBI panel on ARCs proposes norms for valuers, reserve price

The RBI committee on ARC has submitted its report. 

It suggested that the scope of Section 5 of the SARFAESI Act be expanded to permit ARCs to acquire financial assets from all regulated entities. 

It recommended all accounts above Rs 500 cr, two bank-approved external valuers and b/w Rs 100 - Rs 500 cr, one valuer should carry out a valuation to determine the liquidation value and fair market value.

The committee was headed by former RBI Executive Director Sudarshan Sen.

एआरसी पर आरबीआई पैनल ने मूल्यांकनकर्ताओं के लिए मानदंड, आरक्षित मूल्य प्रस्तावित किया

एआरसी पर आरबीआई की समिति ने अपनी रिपोर्ट सौंप दी है।

इसने सुझाव दिया कि एआरसी को सभी विनियमित संस्थाओं से वित्तीय संपत्ति हासिल करने की अनुमति देने के लिए सरफेसी अधिनियम की धारा 5 के दायरे का विस्तार किया जाए।

इसने 500 करोड़ रुपये से ऊपर के सभी खातों, दो बैंक-अनुमोदित बाहरी मूल्यांकनकर्ताओं और 100 रुपये से 500 करोड़ रुपये के बीच मूल्य निर्धारण की सिफारिश की, एक मूल्यांकनकर्ता को परिसमापन मूल्य और उचित बाजार मूल्य निर्धारित करने के लिए मूल्यांकन करना चाहिए।

समिति की अध्यक्षता आरबीआई के पूर्व कार्यकारी निदेशक सुदर्शन सेन ने की थी।

RBI issues revised Prompt Corrective Action framework for banks

RBI has issued a revised Prompt Corrective Action framework for banks to enable supervisory intervention at "appropriate time" and also act as a tool for effective market discipline.

Capital, asset quality and leverage will be the key areas for monitoring in the revised framework.

The revised PCA framework will be effective from January 1, 2022.

The PCA is also intended to act as a tool for effective market discipline.

The first PCA was introduced in December 2002.

आरबीआई ने बैंकों के लिए संशोधित त्वरित सुधारात्मक कार्रवाई ढांचा जारी किया

आरबीआई ने "उचित समय" पर पर्यवेक्षी हस्तक्षेप को सक्षम करने और प्रभावी बाजार अनुशासन के लिए एक उपकरण के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए बैंकों के लिए एक संशोधित त्वरित सुधारात्मक कार्रवाई ढांचा जारी किया है।

संशोधित ढांचे में निगरानी के लिए पूंजी, परिसंपत्ति गुणवत्ता और उत्तोलन प्रमुख क्षेत्र होंगे।

According to the Investment Bank Goldman Sachs, India is poised to become the world’s second-largest economy by 2075.

As per the report, India would cross Japan, Germany, and the US With a population of 1.4 billion people.

India’s GDP is estimated to expand remarkably, reaching 52.5 trillion dollars surpassing the US GDP projection.

The labour force participation set to make India the second-largest economy in the world by 2075.

L&T and Spain's Navantia sign agreement for submarine project

L&T has signed a teaming agreement with Spanish-based Navantia for the submission of a techno-commercial bid for the Indian Navy’s prestigious P75 (India) submarine program.

P75 (India) Submarine Project is expected to be valued at €4.8 billion.

Navantia would carry out the design of P75(I) submarines based on its S80 class of submarines.

The first S80 class submarine was launched in 2021 and is undergoing sea trials prior to its delivery to Spanish Navy. 

एलएंडटी और स्पेन की नवान्टिया ने पनडुब्बी परियोजना के लिए समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किये

एलएंडटी ने भारतीय नौसेना के प्रतिष्ठित P75 (भारत) पनडुब्बी कार्यक्रम के लिए तकनीकी-वाणिज्यिक बोली प्रस्तुत करने के लिए स्पेनिश-आधारित नवंतिया के साथ एक टीमिंग समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

P75 (भारत) पनडुब्बी परियोजना का मूल्य €4.8 बिलियन होने की उम्मीद है।

नवंतिया अपनी S80 श्रेणी की पनडुब्बियों के आधार पर P75(I) पनडुब्बियों का डिज़ाइन तैयार करेगी।

पहली S80 श्रेणी की पनडुब्बी 2021 में लॉन्च की गई थी और स्पेनिश नौसेना को इसकी डिलीवरी से पहले समुद्री परीक्षणों से गुजर रही है।

According to a study by Invesco Global Sovereign Asset Management, India has overtaken China to become the most attractive emerging market for investing in sovereign wealth funds this year.

Reason: This is due to its solid demographics, political stability, and proactive regulation. 

Positives for the nation also include the rapidly expanding demography, strong regulatory actions, and a welcoming climate for sovereign investors.

World Population Day is observed every year on July 11 in order to raise awareness about global population issues, including population control.

2023 theme: Unleashing the power of gender equality: Uplifting the voices of women and girls to unlock our world’s infinite possibilities. 

It was established by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 1989, after the day the world approximately reached a population of five billion, which was observed on 11 July 1987.

इसकी स्थापना 1989 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम (यूएनडीपी) द्वारा की गई थी, उस दिन के बाद जब दुनिया की आबादी लगभग पांच अरब हो गई थी, जो 11 जुलाई 1987 को मनाया गया था।

MoHUA conducts SBM-U 2.0 Planning & Implementation Review-cum-Workshop

The Housing Ministry organized a review-cum-workshop to evaluate and accelerate the planning and implementation of the SBM-Urban 2.0.

PM Modi launched the 2.0 versions of SBM-U and AMRUT on October 1, 2021.

SBM-U 2.0: Achieving 100% waste segregation in all households and premises and 100% door-to-door collection of segregated waste from each. 

AMRUT 2.0: To provide complete coverage of water supply to all households and sewerage and septage in 500 AMRUT cities.

AMRUT 2.0: 500 AMRUT शहरों में सभी घरों में जल आपूर्ति और सीवरेज और सेप्टेज की पूर्ण कवरेज प्रदान करना।

Gujarat CM launches pilot project of ‘Antyodaya Shramik Suraksha Yojana’

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel launched the Antyodaya Shram Suraksha Accident Insurance Scheme from Kheda

All those registered under the e-Shram portal from Nadiad will benefit from the scheme.

It is being implemented through the Indian Postal Department, the IPPB, and the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Under this scheme, insurance with a premium of Rs. 289 and Rs. 499 per year will be a big support to workers in the event of death or partial disability.

नडियाद से ई-श्रम पोर्टल के तहत पंजीकृत सभी लोगों को योजना से लाभ होगा।

इसे भारतीय डाक विभाग, आईपीपीबी और श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय के माध्यम से कार्यान्वित किया जा रहा है।

इस योजना के तहत 100 रुपये के प्रीमियम पर बीमा मिलता है. 289 और रु. मृत्यु या आंशिक विकलांगता की स्थिति में प्रति वर्ष 499 रुपये श्रमिकों के लिए एक बड़ा समर्थन होगा।

OCA elects Sheikh Talal as the new President

Kuwait’s Sheikh Talal Fahad Al Ahmad Al Sabah has been elected as the new President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

He replaced his older brother Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, who led the OCA for 30 years until 2021.

The OCA was founded in 1982 by his father Fahad Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who led it until 1990.

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is a governing body of sports in Asia, currently with 45 member National Olympic Committees.
